i2c Inc., a global financial technology innovator, announced the appointment of Jess Barbera as Vice President and Head of Sales and Business Development, Latin America and the Caribbean. A respected payments industry leader with deep regional expertise, Barbera joins i2c to accelerate growth, strengthen client partnerships, and help financial institutions and fintechs across the region unlock new opportunities through next-generation banking and payment solutions.

Reporting to Jason Goldberg, i2c’s Chief Revenue Officer, Barbera will lead i2c's sales and business development organization throughout Latin America and the Caribbean, driving market expansion and deepening engagement with the banks, fintechs, and innovative financial service providers shaping the region's future.

"The countries in Latin America and the Caribbean represent some of the most dynamic and rapidly evolving financial services markets in the world," said Goldberg. "As demand grows for greater flexibility, speed to market, and innovation, we're continuing to invest in the people, technology, and partnerships that help our clients succeed. Jess brings a powerful combination of commercial leadership, payments expertise, and regional market knowledge that will strengthen our ability to help clients achieve their growth ambitions."

Barbera brings more than 15 years of experience spanning financial technology, payments, commercial leadership, business development, and complex technology transformations across Latin America. Most recently, she served as Head of Sales for Latin America at TSYS, whose issuer solutions business was recently acquired by FIS. In that role, she led market expansion initiatives, strategic client acquisition, and commercial growth programs across the region. Throughout her career, she has partnered with leading financial institutions, fintech innovators, and ecosystem stakeholders to bring transformative payment experiences to market.

In addition to her commercial leadership experience, Barbera has successfully led complex payment platform implementations and large-scale transformation programs across multiple countries. Her unique blend of sales, delivery, and operational expertise enables her to help clients navigate every stage of growth, from strategy and technology decisions through implementation, launch and scale.

"What excites me most about joining i2c is the opportunity to help financial institutions and fintechs across Latin America and the Caribbean turn ambitious growth strategies into reality," said Barbera. "The region is evolving rapidly, and organizations need technology that gives them the flexibility to innovate, reduce time to market, and adapt as their customers and markets change. i2c's PowerOne platform, combined with its global expertise and partnership approach, provides the foundation to accelerate that transformation and scale with our clients as they grow.”

Barbera's appointment underscores i2c's continued investment in Latin America and the Caribbean, where the company supports clients with issuer processing, core banking, digital banking, and money movement solutions. Powered by the company's unified PowerOne banking and payments platform, i2c enables organizations to rapidly launch and scale differentiated financial products while adapting to changing market demands. The company's growing regional momentum was recently recognized when Global Finance named i2c the Most Innovative Fintech Company in Latin America, highlighting its commitment to helping clients deliver next-generation financial experiences across the region.
