Treliant, an essential consulting partner to the global financial services industry, has named Bobbie Paul as Managing Director within the firm's Financial Crimes and Fraud Solutions team. Her appointment reflects Treliant's deepening commitment to helping financial institutions, fintechs, and digital asset companies mitigate and prevent the ever-growing threat of fraud and financial crime.
Bobbie brings over two decades of experience designing and leading risk and compliance programs across financial services, fintech, and digital payments. She has built and transformed high-performing fraud and identity programs from the ground up, with a focus on reducing losses, enhancing operational efficiency, and aligning regulatory compliance with business growth. Most recently, Bobbie was Head of Fraud and Identity at MVB, a leading fintech-forward and Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) financial institution. There, she led enterprise-wide fraud programs across complex banking and fintech partnerships and oversaw fraud risk strategy for the launch of a major personal finance platform's direct banking offerings. Before that, she built and led the Fraud and Identity Advisory Services practice at Experian.
Bobbie's experience spans both program design and real-world implementation, enabling her to bridge the gap between strategy and execution. Her leadership strengthens Treliant's ability to advise clients at every stage of maturity—from early-stage fintechs needing foundational frameworks to global institutions modernizing legacy systems. She is particularly skilled at integrating fraud and identity strategies with broader regulatory, technological, and operational requirements.
"Financial institutions globally are facing a wave of complex fraud and identity threats, made even more challenging by fast-moving innovation in fintech and digital payments," said John Arvanitis, Senior Managing Director, Financial Crimes and Fraud Solutions. "Our clients seek advisors who bring real-world experience and strategic clarity to them with the goal of protectingtheir clients and their enterprises. Bobbie's deep background across traditional banking, fintech, and BaaS ecosystems—along with her track record of building scalable fraud programs—makes her a powerful asset to our clients and our team."
"Our clients are under growing pressure to balance innovation with integrity, especially as fraud and compliance risks increase dramatically in real time," said Bobbie. "I'm excited to help clients build proactive, adaptable strategies that protect their customers, safeguard their business, and align with regulatory expectations—while enabling sustainable growth. I look forward to contributing to Treliant's commitment to long-term client partnerships and its track record of navigating complex fraud challenges in the marketspace."
With Bobbie's appointment, Treliant further distinguishes itself as one of the few consulting firms with hands-on, end-to-end capability and expertise across the fraud and identity risk lifecycle. Her arrival reinforces the firm's ability to partner with clients to turn regulatory scrutiny into operational efficiency that results in resilient programs which stand up to present and future threats.
