DeFi Technologies Inc., a financial technology company bridging the gap between traditional capital markets and decentralized finance (“DeFi”), announced that its subsidiary, Valour Inc., together with Valour Digital Securities Limited (collectively, “Valour”), has received UK regulatory approval and has begun offering select Valour exchange-traded products (“ETPs”) to UK retail investors via the London Stock Exchange (LSE), effective January 26, 2026.

The UK Financial Conduct Authority (“FCA”) has approved Valour’s UK base prospectuses, enabling broader retail access to regulated digital asset investment products through traditional brokerage and investment platforms. The approved products include:

Approved Products (UK Base Prospectuses)

  • 1Valour Bitcoin Physical Staking – ISIN: GB00BRBV3124

  • 1Valour Ethereum Physical Staking – ISIN: GB00BRBMZ190

These approvals mark a significant expansion of Valour’s presence in the UK market. Building on prior launches on the LSE for professional investors, Valour now extends access to UK retail investors. This follows the successful introduction of Valour’s asset-backed Ethereum Physical Staking ETP for professional investors and the launch of the world’s first physically backed Bitcoin Staking ETP.

“This is a major milestone for Valour and DeFi Technologies as we continue expanding access to regulated digital asset investment products,” said Johan Wattenström, CEO and Chairman of DeFi Technologies. “The UK is one of the world’s most important financial markets, and these approvals broaden our ability to serve UK retail investors with transparent, exchange-listed products that provide straightforward exposure to the evolving digital asset economy.”

Valour’s 1Valour Bitcoin Physical Staking ETP is designed to provide regulated exposure to Bitcoin while incorporating a staking yield component that is reflected in the ETP’s net asset value (“NAV”). Similarly, the 1Valour Ethereum Physical Staking ETP offers physically backed exposure to Ethereum, allowing investors to participate in staking rewards through a fully exchange-listed and regulated instrument.

With the expansion into UK retail markets, Valour continues to strengthen its position as a leading issuer of digital asset ETPs, delivering compliant, accessible, and investor-friendly products that connect traditional financial infrastructure with the rapidly growing digital asset ecosystem.
